Our Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) covers the websites operated by AHNM Yazılım (“webtemagaza.com”) and explains how cookies are used. By using our site, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this Policy.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored on a visitor’s device (for example a computer or phone) when a website is visited, and they may hold data in a name-value format. These text files can be interpreted by browsers and servers that can access them, and various information can be obtained about the device on which the visit is made and thus about the relevant user. Almost every website today uses cookies.
Who sends cookies, and how?
Cookies are sent by AHNM Yazılım (“webtemagaza.com”) and/or, where the visited page provides certain content such as video or photos, by third parties, via communication established during your browsing between the browser on your device (such as Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and the servers of the organisation referred to above.
What are cookies used for?
Cookies are used for many different purposes. For example, cookies are most often used for the purposes set out below:
- Proper operation of the website (for example ensuring that text, photos, links and similar content appear in the relevant places)
- Providing a more personalised and engaging experience for visitors (for example offering services tailored to your preferences)
- Developing and optimising the website (for example making pages that contain errors or are less preferred work properly)
- Remembering visitors’ preferences (for example information you enter when logging in to our website, language and other preferences)
Where can I find more detailed information about cookies?
The content of cookie texts is often only processable by engineers; visitors who want more detailed and understandable information about cookies are advised to visit www.allaboutcookies.org or www.aboutcookies.org (English).
What types of cookies do you use?
| Cookie type | Description |
|---|---|
| Session cookies | Temporary cookies kept on your devices until you leave the website. |
| Persistent cookies | Persistent cookies remain on your device’s hard disk for long periods; their lifetime may range from a few days to a few years. |
| Essential cookies | They are required for the website to function properly and for users to benefit from the services and browsing features on the site. For example, social media sharing cookies sent to your device by social media networks so that you can share news of interest on our site or access our accounts on the relevant platform are essential cookies, even though they are not sent by us. |
| Functional and analytics cookies | They are used to remember your preferences, for effective use of the website, and to optimise the site to respond to user requests, and they contain data about how visitors use the site. By their nature, such cookies may include your personal information. For example, cookies that store your language preference on our site are functional cookies. |
How is information obtained from your device used?
In addition, we use click frequency during your visits to content on our website such as articles, news and other tabs, and usage data relating to visited pages, for statistical purposes after anonymising them. You do not have to accept cookies to use our website, but in that case the quality of your user experience may decrease. You may delete or block cookies, but then our website may not work as it should. We do not use data collected via cookies to identify you. Cookies are not used outside the purposes stated in this Policy and are not processed in breach of data protection legislation.
